Fall Letter From The President

Wow, what a wet summer it has been! Many people who have never had water problems are now facing the decision of how to remodel their flooded basements. Before making it nice and cozy again, we suggest you think hard about preventing this problem in the future. There are several options and every property has its unique set of challenges. Sometimes it’s as simple as correcting a grading problem. Other properties may require a drainage pipe to be installed under the basement floor. There are also options in between the two extremes. Regardless of what you want to achieve or how much you want to invest; always choose a company you trust with a proven track record.

Time certainly has a way of passing quickly. Seems like only yesterday we were all thinking winter would never end. Now suddenly it seems time to start thinking about fall again, with winter not far behind. As we start to see leaves falling, keep those gutters clean. Many wet basements are a direct result of downspouts clogged with leaves. Now the race is on to get all those outdoor projects done before the snow flies. Of course, fall and winter have some great holidays that promote time with family and friends. Now is the time to get any projects you would like to have wrapped up before Christmas on the schedule. This quickly becomes a challenge this time of year.

This fall is an exciting time for me. I am blessed with the opportunity to travel to a remote village in El Salvador. A group of local individuals will be working with Living Waters International to drill and install a well. The villagers currently must walk several miles to carry water back to their homes. The things we do every day and take for granted are only a dream to so many people in the world. To be able to earn a living here and help others is truly a wonderful thing. For that, I say thank you to all our amazing clients who continue to reach out to us when they have Home Improvement Projects.
