Graham Kitchen Renovation

Every project we take on is unique and has taught us important lessons. They’ve all given us experiences to build upon. Our project for the Graham’s entailed gutting an entire kitchen to install all new, well… everything! The original 1992 kitchen was a small space that was closed off from the dining area. It had no specific storage, organizational cabinets, or pantry. Counter space was limited and a microwave over the stove range created even more congestion in the kitchen.

This 8-week project began with removing all existing cabinets and several walls to make the space more open. Besides a minor setback from our wait for the pendant lights, the project ran very smoothly and was an extremely rewarding process! One of our favorite features of this new kitchen is the customized shape of the island that created more counter space while promoting good traffic through the room.

The finished product features beautiful granite tops a natural ledge stone backsplash and maple cabinets. This new open kitchen now has ample counter space and storage! Details like soft close drawers, a microwave in a wall cabinet, and pull out drawers and shelves make this kitchen as functional as it is beautiful.

This project for the Graham family left us with a wonderful feeling of accomplishment. It was great being challenged with a long list of wishes for a small space. Carefully planning the project to utilize every inch of the kitchen was well worth it!
